Alarm Snooze glitch?

Up until two days ago, I used the snooze button on my alarm on my phone and I believe it was 8 mins later when it the alarm went off again. This worked perfectly fine for me for many many months.

However, to my surprise, that 8 min snooze suddenly changed to over 2 hours!! Which of course resulted in me being late to work.

Is this a bug? Is there something in the works to change this? I'm just curious as this was a really inconvenient and sudden change in my morning routine.
