Unable to connect to internet when connected to VPN

When I connect to VPN I can't access the ​internet. When I try to change service order of network connections, I didn't find VPN connections in the service order list.


Open Settings -> Network -> Left pane gear -> Set Service Order ...

VPN connections are not listed in the Service order window


Version/Build:

10.13.2 (17C88)


Configuration:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)

2.7 GHz Intel Core i5

8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11)

Well, it depends.


As KiltedTim said, it is quite possible that the security settings of the VPN are preventing the access.


You may want to click the "Advanced..." button and see if the box for "Send all traffic over VPN connection" is checked or not. I believe the default is for it to be checked, and maybe you want to uncheck it.
