My iPad Air 2 shuts off, returns to sign in page on its own

My iPad Air 2 shuts off, returns to sign in page on its own.

It will be sitting there, on, and then just shut down and go back to the sign in page. Tried rebooting, restarting, no effect. Tried to back it up and it shut down in the middle

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 11.1.2
