Looking to create a simple iOS App - Where do I start?

I am looking to learn iOS App Development from scratch. I would like to learn by creating a simple App. I have light experience in coding in the old days. Can someone point to the best way to start? In your opinion what is the best place(e.g. App, Book, Site) to start the right way, with sound coding practices.
