Appending library from other Mac

Hi there! I need to append iTunes library (media, and playlists) from the other mac to the existing library on my imac. The media is different, as well as playlists. I need them both together. On some reasons (mainly - space) - i don't use iCloud.

What is the right way to go?

Thanx

iMac with Retina 5K display, macOS High Sierra (10.13.1), iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015

You can add media from one to the other by dragging the media files in Finder from the iTunes > Media folder to the iTunes library window of the other library. This will put copies of those media files in the open library. As for playlists, iTunes has a menu feature which lets you export and import playlists. If you're using iTunes' default preferences for organizing your library then you may be lucky and iTunes will connect the playlists to the media files you add when you import the playlists from the other library. Otherwise you may end up having to do a lot of re-linking.
