Change Aspect Ratio
I am trying to change the Aspect Ratio in the current version of I-Movie. All the answers I am seeing currently do not apply.
I am running on a 2016 Macbook Pro

You can not change the aspect ratio in iMovie. It is fixed at 16x9. If your media is other than 16x9 in the tool bar choose the crop button and select fit. This will fit your clip into the iMovie frame with black bars on the sides. I understand Handbrake can remove these bars but I have not verified that.
