Can't change apple-id email

Can't change apple-id email

I created a new email a couple of days ago. The new email is a gmail and i want to change the apple-id email. The current email for my apple-id is a hotmail-address.

When i try to change it it says that my new gmail is already in use. is this even possible?

Someone have any idea on a solution for this problem?

I have followed the steps and it does not solve the problem. The newly created gmail address is still unavailable.

It's really strange :/

I get this error message: This email address is not available. Choose a different address.
