How to insert a pause in voiceover video?

Below is a screenshot of my project. Essentially, it is a voice over many carefully-timed overlapping slides. I want to inset a pause right where the cursor is and make those slides stay on the screen longer why the voice is paused for about a second. How do I do it and move everything in sync to the right?

Thanks!

Cut the audio where it is and shift it to the right. You might need to find some room tone to fill the gap.

Zoom into the two transitions above it so you can see the ripple edit controls inside the transition. Ripple the outgoing clip on the primary storyline to the right to extend the shot. Do the same for the transition above it on the secondary storyline.

This will take much, much less time to do than it took me to write this.
