Does it infuriate anyone else that you can't search for an installed App unless you give Siri full access to your personal data in the App?

Prior to iOS11, you could type the first few letters of an app into the spotlight search to find an app insatlled on your phone. I have 8 pages of apps, so the search is crucial. Now spotlight search has been replaced with "Siri Suggestions" and you have to agree to allow Siri access to all of your data in the app (bookmarks, browsing history, purchase history, usage data, and your location when you use the app) in order for the app itself to appear in the search results. This is super invasive and just wrong.

Help me out if I'm missing something here- would love to be wrong about this

iPhone 8, iOS 11, null
