Smart Playlist

I replaced my old iPad with a iPad mini 4 two days ago. After completed the setup, restoration, and syning with iTune, I found out that all the standard smart playlists are not working. They are shown in the iPad's music library. But, when I click on one of them, instead of playing the songs, the music app just exits and shows the iPad home screen instead. I syned the iPad with iTune (version 12.7.2.58) again, but it still behaves the same. The smart playlists works in mu iPhone x. I hope there is a simple fix to this problem. Please help.
