I am trying to delete 100s of emails in my all mail folder. I click on edit then at the bottom it says mark all which I have done but I don’t know what to do then. Each mail is highlighted with a orange dot that’s all. Am confused ♀

After you mark all do you see ‘trash’ as an option on the bottom of the left pane?
If you don’t, who do you use for your e-mail? different mail providers sometimes work things differently in the app. As well as the difference between imap accounts and pop accounts
No there’s no trash in the all mail but in unread mail there is and I know how to delete them. It is just in the all mail. As far as I know I am using the mail that came with safari. Sorry if I am sounding stupid.
YOu don’t sound stupid at all. It gets very confusing when even the apple mail app has different options for each mail provider.....I have yahoo and hotmail and I have different set up options for each one.
When you say using the mailthat came with safari, do you mean the mail app that is bundled on your iPad (as in you went into the settings and added your gmail info ot access the mail), or do you use safari to go to gmail.com to get your mail, or do you use the gmail app...as in there’s a gmail icon that you tap on to get your mail.
