Air Mid 2011 keyboard error?

I am having trouble with my laptop. QWERTY row on keyboard litterary died. Non responsive at all. Since we don’t have Apple store in Montenegro I went in Serbia and they told me that these mid 2011 models have an error on motherboard and it cannot be fixed. Does anyone met with something similar ? Any good advices ?
