~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginitems.plist to remove

Will Sierra 10.12 still run stably if to remove file as specified in subject line? Background: It is about bootable clone on USB 3.0 external HDD. Booting from that needs lot of time as several programs are started from user's Login Items which is highly irritating while clone in testing. The idea is to remove this file from clone, this method if working seems to be the shortest way to target.

If a clone is being tested then it should function exactly like the system that was cloned. This would include all the Login Items installed on the source. It wouldn't be a reliable test if you remove items that will normally be included on the clone.

But if this is what you want to do then remove it and see what happens. Move it to the Desktop, see what happens; if it isn't good then put it back.
