i have an IPhone in repair and they said they'll replace it but o want a refund or gift card if I ask them for it will they accept my request?

If the phone is within the return period you can get a refund.
Otherwise, as per the terms of the warranty, you are entitled only to a repair or replacement at Apple's sole discretion.
