My 94 yr old Dad forgot his screensaver pw

and we just updated it to High Sierra, restarted the Mac mini and now he can't get past the screensaver....HELP please.

Boot into Recovery mode by holding Cmd + R when you power on the machine.


Once it boots to the recovery menu, on the toolbar, go to Utilities > Terminal. In Terminal, type

resetpassword


This should allow you to reset the password to that page.
