Colour of dock

After the macOS High Sierra update, the colour of the dock has turned white instead of the grey filtered one

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that the dock on your Mac is white after recently updating. I'm happy to help.

First, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Accessibility, click Display and make sure Reduce transparency is off.

If the behavior continues, try testing the issue in safe mode. Starting in safe mode allows your Mac to run certain checks, remove caches, and prevent login items from automatically launching.
