Keyboard missing on Mac Mini

I was having trouble print on my Mac Mini after I updated to High Sierra. I had to hook the cables to my old computer in order to print some items. After I put the cables on the new computer, the Mini does not recognize the keyboard. It is not wireless. I have tried everything I can think of to fix the problem.
