The best option is to make an appointment at the Genius Bar or at an authorized service provider to have the hardware evaluated. If there is no issue, you could ask for views on whether an upgrade to iOS 11.2 might be helpful as an input into your decision whether to go in that direction or not.
Hi I'm new here, and I want to know if there's something wrong with my iPhone 6s because just last week I was using my headphones and it just started making a loud static noise. So I changed my headphones and used the original EarPods and the same thing happened. So I restarted my phone and it was fixed and just today it started happening again, and after restarting, it sounds normal. So I'm guessing it's not my headphone jack, and a software issue and I want to know if it's a bug on iOS 10.3.3. I'm still on iOS 10.3.3 and don't want to update to iOS 11, but if it fixes that, I guess I'll just update. Oh and I have taken the phone in the restroom while showering to play music, but I don't think that's what caused it.

Loud static noise will happen at random while headphones are plugged in on iPhone 6S
