Word for Mac

Hi,

I have been working on a Word document in Mac and it suddenly crashed. When I tried to re-open it I got the following error message:

"Xml parsing error

Location: Part: /word/header2.xml, Line:2, Column:8616"

It gives me no further options and no apparent way to recover any of the document. A lot of work was already saved in the document - how can I recover that? Even part of it would help.
