stand alone folder

Hi,

Can anyone advise how, if possible, I can create a folder in iCloud that will appear in my desktop sidebar but does not store anything on the desktop hard drive but simply uploads it to iCloud?

Thanks.

Do you have the iCloud Drive folder in Finder? To tell, try opening Finder, on the toolbar, press Go > Go To Folder, and type in

/Users/InsertYourUserHere/Library/Mobile Documents/

This is your iCloud Drive folder. Navigate to the folder in there that you wish to have in your Finder sidebar. Click and drag that folder to the sidebar, and it should add the shortcut there for you.
