Charging issues with new USB c charger

I just bought a brand new macbook pro with a USB c charging cord. First night I plugged it in and it doesn't charge at all, but the power hasn't gone done, I thought maybe it was me. Second night, I plug it in and make sure its connected and go to sleep, when I wake up it's only half way charged. Right now, I finally have it plugged in and its charging but I notice the charger is bottom heavy and doesn't seem to fit properly in the outlet. Does anyone have any other solutions. Also, I don't like that they removed the extension that we used to get with the cord.

The extension cable for Apple power adapter had been included; you may get one from

an Apple Store, an Authorized Apple Service Provider, or some online reseller of Macs.

OWC has the correct cable; or a reasonable facsimile. Check before buying, for correct part.

Note: 6' Power Cable not included (available separately)

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂

And see about scheduling an appointment with an Apple store Genius; or a product

specialist at an Authorized Apple Service Provider to have the new MacBook/Pro &

its power adapter (and connecting cable) evaluated. Could be something isn't right.

Hard to see it here, but I've had nothing but troubles with trying to edit. There is a narrow

window of time opportunity to add, correct, or edit content; with slow internet.. (Scream!)

Good luck in any event...! 🙂
