Should I upgrade to Sierra? (Late 2012 iMac w/ Fusion Drive)

I own a late 2012 iMac with Fusion Drive. I maxed out everything when I bought it. I currently run El Capitan and everything works great. I just want to make sure that if I upgrade to Sierra, my iMac's performance will not become sluggish or erratic.

It should probably be fine but I just want to be safe.

Thanks!

It probably will, but you can find out for yourself without altering your Mac in any way. Read Upgrading macOS without fear. That's what I do whenever contemplating installing a macOS upgrade.
