Mac apple pay is not working

I attempted to make a purchase on grub hub using Apple pay, but unfortunately it said my payment was unsuccessful. The processing circle was spinning for about a minute and if you were not looking down added for the second it says unsuccessful you would not know.

Mac mini (Late 2014), macOS High Sierra (10.13.2)

Same issue here. Allow Payments on Mac is enabled. Both Mac and iPhone have Bluetooth enabled and are on the same WiFi network. Both devices have the latest OS updates, i.e. macOS 10.13.2 and iOS 11.2.1. Apple Pay hasn't worked for me on the Mac since High Sierra was installed.

Additional to my issue. It was suggested to me, if you have pending payments that won't process, in your account, after using Apple Pay, contact the retailer whoever you bought from and ask them to send a note on their company letterhead, stating the payment was processed using another source and it is okay to clear the Apple Pay transactions. IF the Apple Pay transactions DO process, then the retailer should have no problem crediting your credit/debit card for the extra charge(s).
