There's more than a few times with myself and my kids that we've downloaded a movie on their I phones or my I pad, (most recent one, not a pro) and then won't play while we are offline on the plane. Anybody have any insight why this happens? We always are up to date on Ios.

It just goes back to the movie library, so, I guess won't play. Like it can't access it even though has the appearance that it's downloaded. Yeah, says the download is done, hate to try to start it before ready to watch it because on 48 hours to watch, etc. Hate to check all of them they download before start the trip because will start the clock.
When you say it won't play, do you get an error or something, does it just not play? Have you downloaded that movie and made sure that it worked downloaded before leaving on the plane?
