Question:

Question: My Phone is not accepting my Apple ID password, stuck in a loop

My Apple ID and password work fine when logging in to Apple or iCloud from the browser.


When it comes to installing or updating apps, it repeatedly asks me for my password. Once I enter it, it just prompts me for it again.


Any ideas?

I understand from your post that you are being repeatedly prompted to enter your password to install or update apps but it is not accepting your password. I have some additional questions for you which may help us resolve your issue:

1. Does this happen over Wi-Fi and cellular data?
2. Does it happen in multiple locations like home and work?

Hi

Turn iPhone off Make sure your pc is running the latest iTunes 12.7.2

Connect lead to USB on your pc Press

Press just the power button down on iPhone don't let go Connect lead to iPhone keep power button pressed down until pc sees iPhone Then wait for restore you may need to do this more than once Before it works.

If you still have a problem make an appointment at Apple store you may need a new battery.
