Question: reinstall OS X 10.10

I'm trying to reset my iMac. I used the StartUp method. I already used Disk Utilities to erase my HD. Now, I'm trying to reinstall OS X 10.10, but when i login, I keep on receiving "currently unavailable, try again later". What should I do?

If 10.10 was the original OS on your Mac it is available through internet recovery (Command-Option-R)

If 10.10 was not the original OS the only way it's available is to sign in with your Apple ID on another Mac and access it through the app store under your purchases.

Exactly which iMac do you have?
