Texting android users..

Android users do not get my texts... I get theirs but they do not get mine.. if I send a photo they do get the picture though.. just no words or regular text. iMessage works fine .. how do I fix this? I’ve contacted my carrier and reset network settings restore etc etc.. nothing has worked :(
