It seems your post hasn't gotten a response yet. Try answering the following questions to offer more information, so other Apple Support Communities users can help:

What are you trying to update (an iOS device, a Mac computer, an app or other software)?
If it is iOS or macOS software: What model (iPhone X or 2017 15-inch MacBook Pro)? What is the current software version being run, and what version are you trying to update to?
How are you trying to update (on the iOS device or through iTunes on a computer? Using the Mac App Store? A third party update)?
What happens when you try to update (do you get an error)?
