Question: Permanently remove calendar from iCloud

Why on earth does Apple think it's ok to keep data stored for 'recovery' without consent nor giving users the option to permanently remove it (or refuse storing it in the first place)? They don't even let you know for how long. Unbelievable.

Can anyone help? Thanks

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
