For six months I've been waiting for a battery for my MacBook Pro and in Italy nobody is able to solve the problem. Now I'm trying to figure out if this is an occasional problem or if there are serious problems with Apple maintenance products.

If you're not technically inclined, I'd suggest contacting the Genius Bar at an Apple store to see how much they would charge for a battery replacement. Your model is still listed as being supported.
Apple may no longer carry a battery for a 5+ year old computer. Your 2012 is about to be included in the "vintage" category I believe - see here:

You might want to checkout the availability of replacement batteries for 5 year old PC laptops first.
Where can you find batteries to replace a MacBook pro 2012 as Apple does not provide it to its customers?
