Version upgrade question

i have a new iPad with version 9.3.5 and it says there are no upgrades available. When I go to the App Store I can't download because it requires version 10 or greater. How do I upgrade to the latest version?

An iPad 2 (as shown in your equipment profile) is not "new." They were discontinued over five years ago. If someone sold you an iPad 2 this month and represented it as "new" you should demand your money back.

If you believe you have a newer iPad than that, please use this Apple article to identify your exact sub-model:

and post the sub-model. Note that the article includes the Model numbers that can be found on the metal back of the iPad. The font is brutally small ("Sir Jony Ive" font sizes) and you will very likely need a magnifying lens to read the number.
