iCloud issues on iPhone X and iPad Air

I’ve tried to hard reset both devices with no avail.

Both devices are coming up that they’ve never been iCloud backup up under settings.

However when I go into the iCloud setting it says that they’ve been backup successfully with the date and time.

I’m tearing my hair out over this !

I don’t trust that they have been backed up successfully.

Is this a bug within iOS 11??? Seems strange both devices are the same.
