MacOSX High Sierra (10.13.2) wont boot but Windows 10 partition will

Hello, to start I would like to say that I have a Mid Year 2012 Macbook Pro, 15 in.

Recently I updated the OS to High Sierra 10.13.2, and about this time two weeks ago it was still running.

I have a Windows 10 partition on this same Macbook and I switch back and forth to do Schoolwork.

Two Weeks Ago Thursday the Mac side of my computer would not load the desktop. It would just stay on the boot screen with a full bar, even though I had left my computer on for a full day.

The Windows partition however, works just fine, and it's where I'm typing this question from now.

I don't have a backup of my Mac partition, although I have a few important files I did backup I created more files that haven't been backed up.

In recovery mode I can see my user profile for my Mac but I can't drag that user to an external hard drive to back it up from the Disk Utility.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to either back up my Mac, or get the Mac partition to load?
