Can't work with 4K HVEC HDR on FCPX 10.4

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)

• 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1867 MHz DDR3,
• Running macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 (17C88) and FCPX 10.4

Can't open or work with 4K HEVC HDR files in Final Cut Pro 10.4.

I'm having issues with Final Cut Pro X 10.4 and video captured from the Xbox One X 4k Game DVR. The files are encoded in 4K HEVC HDR. I can play the files back on IINA on my Mac. Neither FCPX, iMovie, Quicktime or Compressor can open the file.

For those curious the captures are from Final Fantasy XV in 4K HDR. I can upload the files to Youtube and trim them however, this is not suitable as the files are large.
