What's the best storage for iMac - ssd or fusion?

I'm going to buy a new 21 in 4k iMac and wonder whether to get the fusion drive or ssd storage. What are the pros and cons of each? I don't need to do any high power processing. I also need a drive for cds. Should I get the apple super drive or something else?

its not a simple answer. if you need some speed and data storage go with the fusion drive. if you are savvy and want speed and storage then go with the SSD and store externally through USB or thunderbolt. if you want to be stuck at the so called super drive then get it. I use an external USB pioneer 209 blu ray drive. That's my super drive and a lot more super than super.

Community specialist! This is the second time in the past few days I could not get the reply sent. You need to fix this problem. If I could get hold of ASC support easily I'd help. The screen shot is what it looks like each time.
