iMac won't shut down connect to second monitor

Hey all,

I use 3 monitors, sometimes just two. All works really well, except if I want to restart or shut down. I have noticed that this only happens when I have (dvi connected) the second monitor connected. Otherwise, I have to force the restart.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
