How to retain WiFi log in from QR code?

Hi,

I can generate a QR code for my WiFi router login details. Whilst it works perfectly initially on the iOS devices I have tried, if you turn off your iOS device and then back on, the log in data is gone. How do I get an iOS device to remember the log in data via QR code?
