How do I turn off Mail (Apple Mail) in IOS 11.1.2?

How do I turn off Mail (Apple Mail) in IOS 11.1.2? If I try to send a email it wants my login to my iCloud or gmail accounts. I manage those accounts with Outlook.

iPad Air Wi-Fi, iOS 11.2.1

If on an iOS device: go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > slide Mail off.
