Error downloading / installing update, now airport extreme won't power on.

Airport extreme base station and airport extreme extender tried to download and install updates, stopped working, now will not power on. No Lights. Any ideas?

They were working fine, had a power outage, took awhile to get back on, but were working fine when they both wanted to download and install updates. Error codes during install, power lights went off, won't come back on.

NEVER MIND -- I held them on vertically and plugged them in for the 50th time and they came on, working fine.
