This book can't be opened with the current apple id

I'm having trouble opening books I already purchased using my apple ID. When I try to open the book, I get an error message stating, "This computer is already authorized. Including this one, you have authorized one computer out of your available 5". After clicking ok, I get another pop up stating "This book can't be opened with the current apple id" The Apple ID you're currently using doesn't match the one that was used to purchase this book". I used this same Apple ID to purchase the book so I'm unsure why I can't access it.

I tried logging out and logging back into my Apple ID and reauthorizing my computer but both of these didn't work. I can access the same books on my iPhone using the same Apple ID and password. Any ideas would be appreciated.
