Please HELP!! There are many of my photos that I can't access! I keep getting and explanation point in a triangle. I'm so frustrated. I went online and found out how to repair my library and I did that but it didn't work!

what version of the OS do you have (you state OS X 10.5.5 which is very old - is that correct) and what version of iPhoto? What has recently changed? Have you done any clean up of you disk or run and clean up software?

The Exclamation point means that iPhoto cannot find the original file.
This can be for two reasons: one the library is corrupted, two that you (or someone) has deleted, moved or renamed the files in question.
Hence Larry's question about using any apps to "clean" your Mac.
