Problem auto list detection in pages 6.3.1

Pages 6.3.1 - Unchecked the automatic list detector but keep getting list numbers even after a reboot.

Frustrating thing is that if I copy the text, paste it into another document with the list number removed - and then paste it back into pages - the number reappears.

Will have find other page creation software to use until this is fixed.

Just another frustrating feature with pages - like the automatic text wrap in the arrangement menu - why cant it be something you select instead of being the default?

Many have complained about this. Does anyone at Apple care? I think not.

Where have 'many complained about this'?

Here? Apple does not monitor these user-to-user conversations closely. If you want to request a change in behaviour of the application, go to the Numbers menu (in Numbers), choose Provide Numbers Feedback.

Make your request, tell why it is an improvement, and tell Apple why it is better for a large portion of the users of the software.

Barry
