No sound when message arrives
Messages do not make a sound when they arrive. Have checked to make sure volume is up and sound selected is functional. Phone rings for call but is silent when message comes in.
iPhone 6, iOS 11.2.1
Have you checked Settings > Notifications > Messages > Sounds?
