lost contact names and cant add manually

Lost contact names on my iPhone 6s Plus, can’t add manually either

Hello, it looks like no one has responded to your question. If you could provide the following information, it may help the community respond:

Did you lose the contacts names in the Contacts app, Message app, both or a different app?
What and where are you trying to manually add in the info?
When did you first notice this issue?
Are you using iCloud Contacts?

Hello Bsmith2251,

Thanks for providing that information about losing your contacts in both the Contacts and Mail apps. I know it is important to be able to know which number belongs to which contact. What I'd like to have you do is to:

Force close the Contacts and Mail apps
Turn iCloud Contacts off
Restart
Turn iCloud Contacts on
Test

They disappered on both, and I’m using cloud contacts, noticed it a few weeks ago
