- Did you lose the contacts names in the Contacts app, Message app, both or a different app?
- What and where are you trying to manually add in the info?
- When did you first notice this issue?

Thanks for providing that information about losing your contacts in both the Contacts and Mail apps. I know it is important to be able to know which number belongs to which contact. What I'd like to have you do is to:
- Force close the Contacts and Mail apps
- Turn iCloud Contacts off
- Restart
- Turn iCloud Contacts on
- Test

They disappered on both, and I’m using cloud contacts, noticed it a few weeks ago
lost contact names and cant add manually
