iMac stuck on startup screen
I get a black startup screen and nothing happens even after hours of the loading bar getting completely done. I installed windows 8 via boot camp a few weeks back. This is happening since yesterday.

It's my understanding that your iMac is stuck on the progress indicator which doesn't finish booting even after several hours of being left on. I may be able to help with this. Keep us updated and we'll go from there.If an issue doesn't happen in safe mode
If an issue doesn't happen when your Mac is started in safe mode, try restarting without pressing any keys.
- If the issue comes back, you might have incompatible login items.
- If the issue doesn't come back, it was probably caused by a cache or directory issue with your startup disk, which safe mode fixed.
