iMessage messages are going to Dad’s iPad.

After updating his iPad, my dad began to receive messages that I sent to other people through iMessage. Does anyone know how to stop this? Thanks.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.4.1

You and your dad need to stop sharing an Apple ID.

The person with the new Apple ID needs to thoroughly cleanse her/his iOS devices and then start over.

Apparently you do. Check both devices and see what iCloud account(s) they are logged into.

No we don’t. I checked both devices. He used my mother’s number and his email for for iMessage.
