Etre Report & Download to High Sierra 12.13.2 - email not operating, slow and can't access Yahoo and online a/c's

This is a Mac mini, (late 2012), 4 GB, 2.5 GHz Intel Core 15. Mail is frozen, can't access online accounts. I used to bring my Yahoo e-mail into my Mac mail and I tried putting the Yahoo mail basket offline, but it didn't help. The Yahoo page also won't operate either now - no graphics and I can't sign into my Yahoo email directly. Any login is quite slow - if it works. I had to wait a long time here before I could login, for instance.

The Etre Report follows.

Can you advise me what to do, please? I've read on here that there's a "combo download" that is better than the download we receive via the store, but should I load that now since I already have serious problems? Thank you for your help.

Downloading and installing the Combo will do no harm, it does reset some system files and caches, so may help with your situation. Having only 4GBs of RAM is probably not enough, 4 is probably bare minimum even though Apple says 2Gbs, so if you can upgrade your RAM you might want to look into that.

Another thing to note is that some people have been reporting similar problems and for them downloading Onyx and running its Automation feature has brought their mac to life. Its a free app, https://www.titanium-software.fr/en/onyx.html

Run Etrecheck again and click on Clean Up to get rid of this file.

You may want to remove some of your login items, do you really need those apps from starting when you boot your mac? System Preferences>Users & Groups>Login Items highlight the app you want to remove and click the minus button.

You are also running LaCie software, macs don't need to run propriety software for manufacturers drives you can choose to uninstall it if you want, see LaCies instructions on how to do this.
