FCPX 10.4 Smoothcam not working on RED Footage! >:(

Hey guys,

So 10.4 is great and all, but it is not able to stabilise RED Code RAW footage in the timeline using the in built stabilisation tools. Some kind of bug.

Works fine on normal footage, just not RED.

Tried...

changing to intertia.

rebooting.

quitting and reopening.

Inserted some normal HD h.264 footage from a Canon DSLR - no issues. Stabilises as you would expect.

Any ideas? This is a deal breaker for me. . .Any way to roll back? Export an XML of my current project to take it back to the old version?

Pretty disappointing. 😟
