incorrect apple ID

it Says my apple ID cannot be used to unlock this ipad. problem happened because ios

updated and security pin not known. did a restore using i tunes but still wont let us in

iPad Pro Wi-Fi, iOS 11.2.1

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

It's my understanding that the Apple ID you've provided cannot be used to unlock this iPad. This sounds like the iPad is activation locked and I have some articles that may help. You'll need the Apple ID and password that was used when the iPad was first set up. Check out this article for more help:
