Can you sync an iPod to an iPad?
Ans said no but I know this is an old question and I had hoped things had moved on> My problem is I buy (download) songs to my ipad and would like to transfer new songs to my ipod.

You can't sync an iPod or iOS device to another iOS device. If it's an iPod Touch you might be able to redownload the songs on the iPod via the iTunes Store app on it, otherwise you will have to use your computer's iTunes
